What: "Socially Conscious Media for Socially Conscious World" at History Makers International

This session will highlight case studies of socially responsible media that informs and raises awareness of social issues both on a global and individual level. From personal transformation to addiction, our session will examine the process of putting together ‘socially and ethically responsible’ television seriess, webisodes and websites that entertains and educates both the subjects and the audience.

The National Television Academy awarded its first-ever Humanitarian Award to WITNESS for its use of video and online technologies to document and expose human-rights violations around the world.
